Psl 2020 (additionally called PSL 5 or PSL 2020) is the fifth season of the Pakistan Super League, the T20 Cricket League, which was built up in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).The league are going to be held entirely in Pakistan for the first time.The tournament will take place between February 20, 2020 and March 22, 2020.
Pakistan's Cricket Board (PCB) fulfilled another promise to fans and supporters today when it announced the Pakistan Super League 2020 schedule with all 34 games at four international venues in the country from February 20 to March 22.

In February 2019, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that the fifth season of the tournament will take place entirely in Pakistan.In March 2019,Ehsan Mani, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, expressed a desire to host all of this season's games in Pakistan.

Psl 2020 Draft
The Pakistan Super League 2020 Draft took place on December 6, 2019 at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.The first round took place on November 3, 2019 to determine the order of Draft. Since this season should only take place in Pakistan, only players who were comfortable in Pakistan were included in this draft.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that the team that will make the first pick will be decided on November 3, 2019, by a street cricket game called Pugam. It took place in the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore. The rest of the draft was decided by a super computer.
On December 1, 2019, PSL announced the retention player list with all six teams that have retained a total of 45 players from the previous season.

Quetta Gladiators, the defending champion, was given the first choice in the opening round of the PSL 2020 draft.The order for the other five teams was:Lahore Qalandars (2nd) Multan Sultans (3rd), Islamabad United (4th), Peshawar Zalmi (5th) and Karachi Kings (Six).
PCB chairman Esan Mani said: “The Pakistan 2020 Super League will consist of 36 foreign stars. It was nice that 425 foreign players from 22 countries showed interest in playing HBL PSL 2020. Of these, 39 from Afghanistan 12 from Australia, 23 from Bangladesh, 10 from Canada, 109 from England, 7 from Hong Kong, 6 from Ireland, 7 from Netherlands, 8 from Nepal, 11 from New Zealand, 9 from Oman, 5 from Scotland, 4 from Singapore, 27 from South Africa, 39 from Sri Lanka, nine from the United Arab Emirates, six from the United States, 82 from the West Indies , 9 from Zimbabwe and one of Bermuda, Kenya and Namibia.
“It shows the confidence that players play all over the world in Pakistan.”
"We expect the event to boost the economy and tourism significantly, which will have a direct impact on the overall health of the country," said the head of the PCB.
He said the event would be a "long-awaited opportunity" for fans to "see their cricket heroes live and build their love for this great game."
